Two identical addresses listed, can't switch to one with full fibre

Very very frustrated.

About 6 weeks ago, Openreach came to my block of flats and installed FFTP. Great! But my address is listed twice, and the one I'm listed at doesn't let me upgrade to FF. Fine, right? I'll just say move address. Well I get all the way to the end of the process, before Sky wants me to reconfirm the address. Then it says, oh but you already live here. So I can't do anything.

I've had probably about 10 phone calls with Sky trying to fix this. They try to do it themselves, they try to create a new account for me, neither work. The best I've been told is they cancel my broadband and I have to wait 3 weeks for Openreach to send an engineer - so 3 weeks without internet????!!?

I then Google and ask Reddit about this issue. Apparently an ORDI can be requested to merge the addresses. But the ISP need to do this. It was never suggested to me in the many hours I've had on the phone. Still, I call sky and ask them to do an ORDI. They seem confident they know what they're doing, and they are really definitely sending the request to Openreach - I had them confirm. But then when I put the phone down I see they tried to change my address because I got an email about a change. So I am quite sure they lied to me (this address change attempt has been made I think 5 times now).

What can I do, other than leave? I will be leaving in the next few days if they can't do what seems to be a simple thing for me
