Newly installed tv and Broadband,

In the lounge we get 250Mbps on all devices on WiFi, all showing excellent signal. 

Ipad and IPhone all work fine on WiFi, but the tv (Sony Bravia ii) and sky stream can't even play play Netflix. Whats the likely cause?

@NorfolkDude you can get dead areas for WiFi especially if the TV is wall mounted and the Stream puck is behind the set. TVs contain a lot of metal which blocks wifi signals. You can try moving the hub especially if it is low down as the signal path maybe blocked by a radiator or similar. Beyond that you will either need a wifi extender or to use an ethernet cable from the hub to the puck.
