Turning on my Windows PC causes my SkyQ box to disconnect from internet and need restarting

I've half-solved this one (at least I know what it is and can stop it from happening), so thought I'd post here in case anyone else has similar symptoms, or has any ideas what's going on.

I've had the issue for months where seemingly randomly (like once every day or couple of days) the SkyQ box reports no internet, problem with hub etc. There isn't actually a problem with the network, because if I take the ethernet cable out the back of the SkyQ box and plug it into my laptop the cable/link is working fine. When this happens there is no way to get the connection back without power-cycling the SkyQ box (network reset etc doesn't work, it just doesn't connect at all, like there is no cable connected), then after the power cycle it works perfectly. I tried wireless and wired, DHCP and fixed IP, different router ports, etc, but the same thing always happens. It just needs a restart every day or two to get internet connection back, which is a right pain as you can imagine.

I was about to contact Sky and say it's a problem with my Q box, but when I was away from home for a couple of weeks, the family reported the issue never happened! As soon as I came home, the problem started again.

This probably narrowed it down to either my phone or my Windows 11 Desktop PC, the PC hadn't been switched on whilst I was away. I checked by having the Q box open on the network status page, and turned on my PC. Sure enough, the two ticks next to "broadband" and "internet" changed to crosses, and probably 75% of the time  they would stay as crosses and stuck with no internet. Sometimes though, the crosses would go back to ticks, and all was well. So I was pretty certain that turning on my PC was somehow screwing with the SkyQ box. My PC has fixed/assigned IP different to the SkyQ box, so not an IP conflict.

What followed was a lot of testing to find out what was going on. Either WiFi or wired Ethernet on my PC would cause the issue, but then the really strange part was that even with WiFi disabled and the ethernet cable physically disconnected, it still caused the SkyQ box to drop out when I turned it on! After a night of contemplating this mystery, I suddenly remembered that my VR headset (attached to the PC) was also connected to the WiFi. This was the only link my computer could possible have to the network.

Bingo, turning off "Use Wifi to enhance location", actually just turning off Wifi altogether on the headset, solved the issue and stopped the SkyQ box freaking out. I have no idea what the VR headset (Pico Neo 3 Pro) is doing to the network, but the SkyQ box doesn't like it! If I'm bored one day I might try to use wireshark on it and figure out what it's doing that's so bad. It's strange that it can do something that causes the SkyQ box to completely crash it's network and require a reboot, yet no other devices seem affected.

Anyway, VR headest performance doesn't seem impacted by having WiFi turned off (apart from not being able to download any updates or new software etc), so will leave just leave it off.
