Plenty of time yet.

Hubs are normally dispatched via Royal Mail to arrive a few days prior to the activation date.

Once sent out you can usually track its progress. The postie will usually leave it hidden if no one is in. You don't need to sign for it. The postie should also pop a card through the letterbox telling you where it was left and the tracking should show some information on it too.

They are timed to arrive a day or so before, they dont send them out very early in case you change your mind!

If you go into the 'My Orders' drop down under your name on your Sky account, you will see the status of the order. If you have had a Sky hub/router in the past, you may see a 'delieverd' message against this and another entry saying 'awaiting despatch'. Once the router is on its way to you you will recieve a tracking number by email.

If you are getting a new fibre install and you do not already have an ONT (white box the fibre goes to), then you will recieve a number of automated calls from Openreach confirming your appointment. Assuming its going to be Openreach providing the fibre and not City Fibre, I dont know what they do!

I remember the Internet starting!

Sky Full Fibre & Virgin Media XGS-PON, with automatic failover using DrayTek multi WAN router.
Sky Q, which will be sadly missed when they decide to kill it off!
