Trying to actually get someone in authority to sort out a problem on going since 1july.

Ordered full fibre 150  broadband on 1july to be installed on 18th July, day after we moved in.  Negotiated price is £22 pm for 24 mths. Revived hub at our old address before we moved and took it with us. No one turned up!

spoke to sky, they said engineer had logged... customer refused. That's rubbish, it was a Friday afternoon appointment and he definitely did not arrive, there's no where he could go by without us seeing him. Anyway, rearranged for 25th July, 2 engineers arrived then refused to fit because there was a ' 3rd party light' on the pole. The light had no cable attached and has apparently been there for over 20 years according to neighbour and is used once or twice a year. So engineers say you need to get part fibre until we can resolve this. (Light has since been removed)

spoke to sky again! Sent a very nice man on 4Aug who installed part fibre. I then got a call from sky on 5th Aug to see if I was happy. No I stated a wanted exactly what my agreed contract on 1 July was.  Was told, okay we can do that, we will send you a conversion kit. Few days later I received....an Ethernet cable! Agreed installation date19Aug.....no one arrived! Phone sky ...'that order was rejected on 5Aug' !! No one informed us! Was told only thing to do was to place a new order, but told can't do that until last order is cancelled.....but it was rejected.....not the same......will take 72 hours to cancel and I will call you on Friday.....no one's called. Yesterday I called and was passed to 4 different people, none of which helped. Last one said I can get someone to call you 1 sept! So at moment have part bb that I'm being charged £36 pm instead of full fibre for £22 pm as agreed. On top of all this they are asking for a hub to be returned ..that I haven't got. I have a post office tracking number that states it was returned to sender 4Aug. And they are saying that most of the problem is my address. They have the wrong address but right postcode, and that why open reach can't find us!......they've been here twice at least and they have used my mobile number. I'm losing the will, would happily tell them to stick it but then I'd have no internet again for a while whilst it was sorted with another firm. Had nothing from 18july until4aug and as the signal here is absolutely terrible I had to travel to a friends house to use internet to do all the usual things online needed when you move house. Sorry for long post, need to vent! Any ideas where I go from here. I have emailed complaints twice... only had 1 acknowledgment. According to my app my 1st order was 25july....they seemed to have deleted the original one altogether!!
