Trouble connecting to other tv and phone

Just had new broadband fitted today and we live in a bungalow the signal doesn't reach the other end of the house which is only 40 ft away from router

Which TV system do you have? Sky Q or Sky Stream/Glass? 

 

Is your phone plugged into the socket at the back of the Hub? It's unlikely to work when plugged into a wall socket.
