Tring to connect a 2.4ghz security camera
I have bought a solar security camera and have been trying without success to connect it to my wifi. The camera is 2.4ghz. Each time I try and sync it with wifi, it keeps saying connection failed. I have typed in 192.168.0.1 I have looked at what my wifi is on my laptop, and I can only see 5ghz mentioned. I have then tried to log in to the sky hub, but it will not login, it just wipes out what I have typed over and over again. I have put in my sky name and password, I have put in just admin and the password as sky, still wipes out what I type and leaves empty boxes . I have pressed reset on the sky hub itself, nothing changes. I must be doing something wrong, or could it be my sky hub only has 5ghz? I changed to Sky Broadband last Dec 2023. so presume hub is fairly up to date. So cant log into hub for some reason (using password on the hub itself, the password has not been changed. I believe I have Sky Q. Any suggestions please

@onlythebrave You will have to split the Wi-Fi bands this can be done following the link below.

Have tried that link already, and I cant get past the login page for the hub, it just wipes out what I typed and leaves empty boxes, as I mentioned above. have put in the hub name and my password, and tried admin and sky, they don't work either

Re: Tring to connect a 2.4ghz security camera
@onlythebrave Well the details needed would be admin and your Wi-Fi password.

Re: Tring to connect a 2.4ghz security camera
Thanks, but have tried that and nothing changes, it just wipes out what I have typed in and leave as blank spaces. I have been reading another post with the same problem, but there didn't seem an answer to their problem either ( Post: "Cant log into router settings")

@onlythebrave Have you tried other browsers to see if it works in one of them?

Re: Tring to connect a 2.4ghz security camera
Thanks for your time and suggestions, but I still cant login to the router. I know my password is correct because this week my daughter came to stay, and she wanted to login to our wifi. Gave her the password and she was in no problem. So its just on the login page for the router that does not work for me. any other suggestions?
