Transferring my email address to Sky broadband from PLUSNET

I was told by Sky that I could transfer my email address to them from Plusnet - Plusnet however are saying that I cannot transfer my email address - which is correct

Email addresses don't 'transfer': the domain name (the bit after the @ symbol) is fixed.

Plusnet might permit you to retain access to an address they originally provided, but it fundamentally remains on their infrastructure.
