Total outage 6 days so far

We've had a total outage since 7th December. Harborne Birmingham.

 

Says on Service Checker there is an outage in the local area, usually takes a couple of days to fix. It's been 6 days now, with no broadband. I can't get through to anyone on the phone because I just get an automated voice telling me they know it's down.

 

Any update Sky? How about a refund once it's finally fixed?

We are customers so we can't give you an update unfortunately.


In case you aren’t already aware, the following link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from 01/04/24 the rates are £9.76 per day).
