Toshiba laptop not detecting new Sky Max white broadband

Tried to connect Toshiba laptop to new router but is not seeing new hub both via WiFi and cable.  All other devices connected no problem via WiFi, but not laptop. Looks like blind laptop seeing all my neighbours routers but not mine.

I have REALTEK RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC with all drivers updated.

IPv6 disabled, band only 2.4GHz, reduced WAP 2.

Any ideas?

With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3-T to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.

I'd note 802.11n is rather antique...

Re: Toshiba laptop not detecting new Sky Max white broadband

Thanks for replay, I did lower settings to WPA2-PSK

 Nothing helps. Not seeing router on cable either

Would 802.11ac  be better than 802.11n?

For Toshiba Satellite C850-1MC which network adapter would be compatible?

I think that model is something over a decade old: which operating system is it running?

@TimmyBGood

Currently on Windows 10 with replaced hard drive SSD and 16gb ram

Yes, laptop itself is from 2011-12 if I remember correctly but still running good for domestic use

@Kate2507 have you thought of buying a USB wireless adapter to use instead of the built-in card?
