Thoughts on Siro Fibre to the home with Sky Ireland
Hi, I have 1 GB installed today and it is very disappointing. Am getting a max of approx 350 download and more often than not about 180 mb.
With Virgin Fibre the same devices, the same distance away from router etc were rock solid at around 400 to 550 mb with WiFi connection.
I am happy to go through trouble shooting etc but would been keen to know if others have had similar issues and what the outcome has been.
Also trying to get a response from the chat tool in Ireland is like pulling teeth so any responses here are greatly appreciated.

Generally the Sky hub doesnt perform as well as other ISPs like Virgin, the speeds you are getting are still pretty good and wouldnt be considered a fault at all by Sky.

Re: Thoughts on Siro Fibre to the home with Sky Ireland
I have probably been a little harsh. Firstly, my router is WiFi 6 enabled and the longer the network has been up and ruining dependent on where I am. In the 3 story house I am getting max of 570 and min of 200, but most importantly the connections are solid with no interference.
Yes I was getting faster speeds with with Virgin, but am now paying less than half the price!
