I have a problem with network not connecting. It keeps going off every few seconds. I have re booted the router and all the tvs and boxes in my house but nothing works. Do I need a new router?

@Nicola+Sutton  Can you please run the broadband test, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

Is it only the internet light that is going out and then flashing amber or is the router totally re-booting itself?

If someone has helped give them Like.

The service checker is currently unable to run any tests or provide any information. Other sites are reporting a spike in complaints about poor connection so it would seem the issue is possibly not limited to you, OP.

@claire1982again & @Nicola+Sutton where there is an known issue affecting an area the checker will tell you that before running a line check. However where there isn't a known issue and the checker cannot connectvtomyour hub you get the message @claire1982again reports. With 6 million customers Sky always have a number who have lost their service.

If a line is down and the connection checkervisn't telling you why report the issue to Sky. Currently you have to phone as the forum escalation route is broken.

Thank you. I ran all the usual tests advised online but no difference.  I managed to get through to Sky helpline and they're sending an engineer on Sunday as it could be my router. Let's hope its something simple as this has been going on for weeks.
