The wifi does not reach all areas of our home
Recently changed on to Sky for broadband and The WiFi signal is really poor. You have to be stood next to the hub to get a good signal and to be able to do anything

Yes..Wi-Fi is not great. Move next room and the signal gets weak. Most ISP router are designed to provide Wi-Fi close range and offer options to upgrade at a monthly charge.
Sky internet itsef is pretty decent though. I work from home in the rear extended kithen and Sky router struggles at the kitchen table or the upstairs rear bedroom.
I use my own mesh, but not everyone wants to spend the upfront cost so may decide to pay Sky Monthly for the premium Wi-Fi max.
