The router is not connecting to the internet

The app has diagnosed a fault, 

I have no internet going to the router, reset, changed cable and nothing. 

literrally dead. In urgent need to submit some online papers

I'd strongly suggest you find some other way to do that: if you log a fault with Sky tomorrow then the Openreach target time to fix it would be by the end of Friday.
