The engineer did not come to connect the internet.

On October 6, an engineer's visit was booked from 8 am to 1 pm. He arrived late at 1:45 pm, then went outside, said he would be back in 10 minutes, and never returned.

I thought he was not available and I needed to call them to book another appointment with the engineer, but I can't wait that long and we've been waiting for 2 weeks now, I don't understand why he didn't connect and didn't come and didn't say anything

You will need to contact Sky. Openreach / City Fibre should have updated Sky overnight the 6th going into the 7th of any issues.

we haven't had anything connected to the house yet, he hasn't installed anything yet, he went to install wires on the street and didn't come back

Get someone to speak to the agent on your behalf after you've got past the security question to confirm you're the account holder.
