What cable and router did sky supply you with?
What wall socket do you have at the minute?

I've been provided Sky Stream hub and the kind of Sky port is flat and large. Instead the Openreach wall socket is small

Sky stream is a streaming box that plugs into the back of an isp router using ethernet or wifi
Have you upgraded you broadband as well?

There's no such thing as a 'Sky Stream hub': a Stream puck is a television box.
If you've ordered Sky Stream and Sky broadband together, the Stream puck(s) will be shipped immediately but the internet router (Hub) won't be despatched until close to the activation date which might well be considerably later.
