The Condition of my installed fibre cable on the outside of building

Evening all,

I'd like to know people's thoughts on the condition of my fibre cabling, which was installed outside my flat a few months ago.

The installation itself went fine from the inside, and the guy was out very late doing it, which I can't complain about.

And yes, it was pitch black!

The connection is fine, with a bit of help from a mesh network.

But here's the thing... people never look up.

It wasn't until a few months later that I casually looked up and noticed the state of the installation from the outside.

Would people agree that this isn't good enough?

I see no cap from the outside to protect the exposed bricks weather (although there is a filler, holding it in), and the cable is just hanging loose from the wall, not fixed to the surface. I'm surprised in the strong winds we've had, that hasn't been an issue.

Thoughts?

SKY Support, can you fix this?

Thanks

That's fairly horrible, and I doubt it would pass an Openreach spot check.

You'll need to call Sky though: they won't pick up your post here for attention.

That is really poor, I would insist they put the brick work sealed and repaired and cable clips to holld the cable verticle.
