Terrible signal strength

I have a standard 4.2 router.. I downloaded a tester app, it shows -41db in the room with the router, I go to the next room( measured at 12.8ft away) and the signal is -88 on one side of the bed, and -91 on the other before it drops out completely..

one non supporting wall separating the rooms... apart from paying Sky even more money for 'max', is there another router they could provide?

No.  The only other in-support models are the obsolete single-band 2013 Sky Hub and the nearly-obsolete 2016 Q Hub, both of which are being withdrawn this year.

@Seankm88 What type off wall, solid or not! What is the tester app, and what mobile do you have!

Since you are so close, this would probably sort you out best.
