Temporary Move-with Sky Modem

Hello, Temporarily Moving to a new Flat for A month while renovations Go on,  As I have Sky Go, on my Laptop, and the new Flat has Wi-Fi can I take My Modem with me, Do I just Plug it into the wall, or do I need both Cables that come with it, that run into Sky+ box which i am not taking as just for a month, please help, thanks.

@Toymaker215 Your router won't work at the flat unless there is already a Sky broadband service active there.

If the flat 'has Wi-Fi' then there's no need for your router (which wouldn't work anyway, as @daveNOS indicates).

You connect your laptop to the local wireless signal using whatever network name and wireless security key is provided.
