Tabs take a long time to load on iphone even though signal strangth is good and ultrafast broadband

Tabs for searches Google and Safari on iphone and ipad will take 20+ seconds to load a page and then sometimes hang when navigating. We have ultrafast broadband package and generally good download speeds > 250 MBPS so logically this should not happen. The router has already been changed once which improved things however it is still an issue. it is driving my wife nuts and consequently its my problem!

@Youngsie it is unlikely to be directly linked to the broadband connection as such. However try adding a public DNS server to the Sky Wifi connection's network settings in ios. Switch from automatic to manual and add the two folowing IP addreses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 which are Google's public DNS which are very fast. Also review your privacy settings as some of them in ios can slow things down and may nit be totally necessary on a private connection unlike public wifi.
