Hello everyone so I recently bought a tp link router the AX1800 back in like aguest and it works with our network, it provides internet to the house but the speeds aren't really what I would expect, infact the Sky router I used to use provided better speeds but less reliable. On the old router id average between 600-700 with ethenet and 200 - 300 with WiFi, on the tp link router I now average 300 - 500 on ethernet and 150 - 250 on WiFi. I know there is a issue with tp link devices not supporting skys dhcp option 61 but I didn't think of it entirely as an issue because the internet worked and provided access to the internet but that was until I tried setting up IPv6 and trying to get better speeds, nothing has helped and am really out a loss here. I was looking into asus routers as someone said they were good but Id have zereo clue where to look or what to look into, my budget would be 200 pounds.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAre you sure the router is setup right? Are you using QoS or anything like that?
