Hello I was wondering if switching from superfast to ultrafst plus provides a new instalation of wires. As I know ultrafst wasn't in my area previously and my internet was going through copper wires. Is instalation of this new wires that are going through those poles free or do I need to pay extra for an instalation?

It would require a new installation of fibre optic cable but that should be done via the existing route the copper line take. There may be around £19 setup fee for the new fibre optic modem

The notes below would be handy as they state any anticipated issues .
At the minute 1 stage install and no issues should cost you nothing apart from the £19 for the modem

And o/h (overhead) means it will come in from a telegraph pole alongside the existing line

so instalation would be free and I would only have to pay extra for a new router right?

Depending on what hub you have at the moment you would also get the sr203 free of charge
The new ont takes over the role of the integrated vdsl modem inside the hub
The ont fibre modem (below) maybe the only thing you pay for

That should be included in the Openreach FTTP installation budget allowance: I'm not aware they charge.

There used to be a charge for a subsidised ont at C£19.95
