Switched to sky fibre but Wi-Fi not connecting to iPhones

iPhones not connecting to Wi-Fi,contacted sky said switch off hiding in address but don't wanbt to do that due to security.Any help

Do you mean you've switched off SSID broadcast?

Sorry just having problems with WiFi on the iphones.The sky advisor said to switch off hiding your ip address.We weren't keen on that due to websites tracking ip addresses etc.We were also told to switch off broadband shield but that's just added protection
