Switched to Fibre today. Still not working

Hi,

I had fibre installed this morning. The engineer checked the Wi-Fi but said the firmware was updating and the router would restart into a working condition.

Its been 6 hours and there is no broadband and no voice- even after a restart. How long should I wait ?

It's not unusual for the data to start flowing after midnight at the end of the installation day.

Hi,

Just to record. It's been 20h. I have just switched off the box for 20mins this morning. Still the voice light is orange and no internet access.

Problem fixed. After much help from Sky and Openreach and several restarts, the  problem fixed. No idea what the underlying problem was.
