I have changed provider from BT. Their router connected via the OTN. Sky Activation date is today, hub received and Sky confirmed activation achieved earlier today.
BT connection still up ad operating normally so do I just disconnect their router from the OTN and substitute the Sky or must I wait for the BT connection to go down? Haven't had an update from Openreach since yesterday since theuy confirmed they would activate today. Do I need to weait to here from them again?

Can be closed - confirmed that current provider circuit can remain up whilst I switch router - now successfully implemented.

Re: Switched provider and Sky advise broadband active but still have BT broadband connectivity.
@AnthonyFrankel The way that it works is if sky has informed you that they have you now they grab hold off the connection but the BT hub still keeps you working until you put the sky one on the connection.
Once the sky hub is connected and it establishes itself on the Network, does it's FW updates and reboots etc and then is good to go from that point onward. Sky do have up until midnight off the activation day for them to make it all work as needed! OR tell sky first they are done, sky tell you and if BT/EE are involved you should also have an e-mail possible text that they have let you go!
