Switch to full fibre

Currently on sky broadband super fast. Want to switch to full fibre 500. FAQs not clear. Will I need engineer with new box /line in house. Currently router and phone line in house. But if they need to do any amends to that. They won't get to it. Its years old (b4 we owned place) and line runs under plaster board in house. In small bungalow and dont really want it going into anywhere else. So can they use that line or does it need a new cable etc? Thanks in advance for advice.

By definition, for 'full fibre' the role of the current copper line has to be replaced with an optical data bearer, but this typically doesn't follow the same route, and the redundant copper simply stays in place but isn't used at all.

@Nile2977 this link explains what is involved in a full fibre installation https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/full-fibre-broadband-installation-checklist Definitely the engineers wont run cable under floors or behind plasterboard.

The ONT is normally fitted to the inside of the front wall near a power socket there maybe some flexibility on location but it is limited. The hub connects to the ONT by an ethernet cable so your old wiring will be redundant but you can replace the short cable Sky provide with a longer one if you want but that is down to you.
