No internet

No internet. On hold to sky. Just flashing  green light on the sky box. 
app keeps saying it's fine and we have connection but we don't. 
can't get onto anything! 
anyone else ?

If your broadband isn’t working use this link to check to see if there are any problems or outages nearby.
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households. (It doesn’t necessarily disclose a problem instantly and it takes a little while to update).

If there aren't any then try running the line test here
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you’re still having problems you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.

Sky broadband being discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers working from home to use it, they won't receive additional or quicker support.

Mine is also not working and long hold to sky contact 

I guess everyone is having the same problem

Same here. Slow pulsing green light on router since around 6.30pm. Service checker reporting no outage.

No. There're millions of Sky broadband customers and at any given time they'll be a few who have an issue. If it was an issue affecting everyone then

a) I wouldn't be replying to you and

b) the forum boards would be crashing

Spoke to sky. Apparently an open reach outage all over area. I'm Surrey. 
very annoying. They said as it's late it may not get fixed tonight. Hopefully tomorrow.

There is currently an issue in the Surrey area if that's where you are.

And me as well in Surrey. Internet went down around 6:30pm and Sky tests keep showing everything is fine.

Wifi is also down for me in Surrey, when I check on the sky app for the status it is saying it's down and can take a couple days to fix
