Stuttering wifi means my Hive smart thermostat is not working
My Hive smart thermostat contractor says stuttering wifi means the Hive smart thermostat reboots every time there is a loss of signal, however short, meaning the device is not working. The problem may lie with Openreach but it seems that only Sky can request an Openreach engineer to investigate.

Re: Stuttering wifi means my Hive smart thermostat is not working
My Hive thermostat reboots every time there is a loss of signal, however short, so is not working. My broadband/wifi has passed your checks so the fault may lie with the Openreach hub bunly Sky can ask Openreach to investigate.

The problem may lie with Openreach but only Sky can stimulate an investigation by Openreach.

Re: Stuttering wifi means my Hive smart thermostat is not working
@John+Ranyard not quite sure why an issue with the Openreacch line would csuse a Hive thermostat to reboot as it it should still be connected to your Sky hub's wifi. However if there is an issue with your line you are correct it is Sky who can ask Openreach to take action. However even Sky cannot force Openreach to do anything.immeadiatly.
If you have a partial fibre connection which is dropping there are systems designed to stabilise the connection but these can take a week or so to reach a limit it is only at thst pointbor where line drops go above 10 a day that engineers are sent to look at the line.
