Still awaiting cityfibre to set up broadband
Ordered my broadband on the 27 June 2025. Cityfibre Engineers came for the installation on the 02 Jul and found an issue. Since then I have been told different things regarding whether I need to be home for the engineers to fix the issue. It's now been 8 weeks with 3 appointments missed by cityfibre with no information that they were unable to attend. Another appointment booked for Monday but starting to have little hope this will ever be fixed

@Sam399 as with any fibre installation until the engineers visit the site they are not aware of complications that require extra work but that doesn't excuse missed appointments. Sky are still getting to grips with the City Fibre and only a small number of advisers are trained so when calling check that you are talking to one of that team the others are just guesssing..

Update - Still no broadband! Engineers unable to fix the fault Monday and reorganised for next Tuesday, another 8 days total 9 weeks I've been waiting! I was told multiple times by SKY helpdesk the work was external and didn't need to be home, told today the engineer turned up to my home and I wasn't in, funny that, second time that's happened. Now being told the external work needs to be done first then internal work so why didn't they just do the external work on Monday! Absolute joke
