Splitting 2.4 and 5ghz

Hi

I have just had a new router sent through from sky, I need to split the wifi again for smart devices, it was simple last time and the steps seem simple again this time!!

the problem I'm having is everytime I click apply after changing the settings the screen changes to "you are not connected to the internet" then I have to start again and the loop continues???!!

any help please? Am I missing somthing simple?

cheers

If you are using an iThing over WiFi, particularly with the Safari browser, then typically access is problematic.

Ideally you need to use an ethernet connected device
