Split broadband into two 2.4ghz & 5 ghz on max hub

I have just moved to the max hub ( the white one) I use kasa remote plugs via Alexa. These work on 2.4ghz so need to split my hub into 2.4 & 5 Getz. I did this with my old black router via browser using https://192.168.0.1 but can't access this new one as the supplied user name/ password is being rejected. Any help

Simply temporarily turning off the 5GHz & reducing the security to WPS2 should suffice.

Otherwise this is entirely unofficial but worked for me.

Note that if Sky reset the Hub remotely you'll have to repeat the process & it's unlikely to work with the Pod boosters.

Rlease below.  With the max hub you need to disable the 5ghz temporarily then re enable after attaching the plugs

Re: Split broadband into two 2.4ghz & 5 ghz on max hub

Hi guys have just had a call with Sky. This needs to be done via My Sky. My My Sky was not working correctly and was missing some sections. This has now been resolved by deleting the app and reinstalling. As I have the Max hub this is done via the My Sky app by switching the 5ghz off. This can be very distressing as I lost the wifi to my iPad and phone and had to reestablish the 5mhtz using my phone on the internet. I have 10 of these plugs to reset up so will take a day to reset all of them.
