Specific TCP port dropping connection after 10 seconds and needing 30s to reconnect

Good evening,

I have a device which keeps an open connection on port 12307 to a remote server, to transfer some data in real time. Previously this worked ok, and the TCP connection would just need reconnecting every 10 minutes to keep it open constantly. This reconnection would happen without delay.

Today the TCP connection has started dropping after 10 seconds, and then it won't reconnect for 30 seconds, as if there's some kind of timeout delay. This happens consistently and constantly - drops after exactly 10 seconds, then reconnects after a further 30 seconds.

Network looks like this: FTTP > Openreach ONT > Sky SR203  router > Omada mesh network (2 x EAP615 and 2 x EAP 650 access points, 1 x SG2210P switch, 1 x OC200 controller).

The device is connected to the switch via ethernet, however I've tried it connected directly to the Sky router and the same behaviour occurs. I've also tried it with a different router (Omada ER605) and the behaviour is the same. I've tried the device connected to my phone via hotspot and this works fine, the TCP connection stays live, so I can only assume it's an ISP issue.

Is this something Sky is doing, and if so is there a way to get them to stop doing it?
