Some apps including My Sky and the Telegraph only work properly when I'm using my Sky mobile network

I have to switch off my broadband wifi and use Sky mobile signal in order to use some apps, such as My Sky and the Telegraph. This is a recent unwelcome development. What is going wrong?

@Nonexec 

Often caused by Sky Broadband Shield or Apple iCloud relay. Try turning them off.
