At 2:30pm this afternoon my internet dropped, so I reset the router and now the amber light is solid the rest green, I have gone through all the troubleshooting and nothing is working. One thing though is that today for the first time we have had a lot of snow but not sure if that could have an effect on it please help

We have the same issue. Spoke to sky they can't us an engineer till Monday 12pm. They told me to use mobile data. What a flipping joke. I did all the checks before I spoke to sky. When you try to tell them they do no listen. They are just reading off a script. So we have to do without internet till next week. Mine went down at 15.30. Sky says there is no issues in my area.
