@DAVID+GASHEAD if you pay for Sky's Broadband Boost bundle you can ask them to send you a booster for free. Sky dont sell their boosters and for streaming video a booster is often not the best solution especially for different floors. You can pick up Sky bousters online but get the one that looks like the white version of your Sky hub or you can buy a third party one quite chaeply but mount it halfway between the hub and your bedroom which can be tricky between floors.

One solution is a powerline adapter kit which uses your mains wiring to carry the data. One adapter plugs into tge wall near your hub and are linked by an ethernet cable which comes in the kit. The second plugs in near the TV and connected by a second ethernet cable. You can buy these kits with a built-in wifi access point but if possible use tge ethernet connection if possible.

@DAVID+GASHEAD boosters can only offer 50% of the speed of the connection to the hub and are therefore not a great so,ution when streaming video.

@DAVID+GASHEAD Except as @Chrisee alluded to if you are in a position to be able to use Ethernet to connect the booster back to the router, then you should get very similar speeds, but not sure if you are or not.
