Slow super fast broadband

@Poppy+Lillie+123 you are communicating with Sky by posting in this forum. You can find the connection speed of your service by running the connection test in the My Sky app if it is below the guaranteed minimum for your line then it should offer to book an engineer to check the line. 

If your connection is running normally a slow download can be down to your home network running slowly which is very common if using wifi. Last point if you are doenloading a newly released file the server maybe just very busy and tgrottling yhe speed each connection gets. That is quite common for OS updates.

i have this same issue , my line was getting well over 60mbits and 10 upload in the past , i was staying at my gfs so cancelled my internet i then  moved backt o my flat ordered sky and my max speed i can get is now 40 down and 3 up ,  my gaurenteed speed tho is super low around 4mbits up and 0.,5 down , my noise levels have improved alot but noone can tell me why im not getting higher speeds and open reach wont even look at it sinc eim getting higher then the gaurenteed speeds its aload of crap as my  neighbors using open reach broadbands all get much faster speeds im thinking they have to money customers using the exchange or something  as no one seems to know whats going on, my noise level for download when i first joined was well over 30db but now its around 10 sky told me this is as good as ill get untill fibre to the home is installed witch they  have no idea when that will be ..the upload is poverty
