Hey,
So for some reason since the 27th I've noticed a drastic change in my speeds which hasn't gotten any better.
I have a SR203 model router wired into a master socket installed in 2020. The cable itself is a 3rd party cable from Amazon (I had to buy a longer 5m one), but it's been used for 2-3 months now so I don't think it's the cable, I've also tried the original cable Sky provided and it was only 1-2 MB better, but still drastically slow in comparison to the usual speeds
Nothing else has changed around the house so I can't figure out what has happened. I tried powering the router off for 10 mins as per a call with Sky to reset the IP but this didn't resolve anything
Sky have arranged for an engineer visit but with the time of year it is, this might not be until later in the week and wanted to see if anybody had any advice
Thanks for any help!

Could you "run tests" on your my sky app or sky.com account and post the info in "more about your connection "
Your line attenuation suggests you are getting the correct speed for apparently 1.6km from your cabinet however since your previous history goes up to 56Mbps would indicate a fault however your noise margin looks good. So theres nothing concrete that would give us an idea of where the fault is

Thanks for your reply! Is this the info you asked for?

You are 20Mbps below your guarantee. However its to say exactly where the fault is. Unfortunately you'll need to wait for the engineer visit

No worries, thanks for replying. Was just interested to see if there was anything in the meantime.

There is something happening internally or externally that makes your copper run to the cabinet appear longer than it is without affecting your noise margin. I think you have ruled out the dsl cable to the router by using the original one.
