@MadeInEssex I had this too. Try logging into your sky online account and disable the broadband shield. Worked for me.

@Ryanm0071 Forgot all about this thread. Gave up on this months ago and switched to Gigaclear. But never had broadband shield enabled anyway. Don't have problem anymore, which proves Sky broadband was the issue somewhere along the line, as all my devices are the same.

Interesting to read this thread. Having same problems and just lazy to quit SKY broadband but this has encouraged me to swap as the image loading is driving me mad on my iPhone. Thanks for posting!

Hi @tech+fault+again ,
Should point out I have moved from one problem to another, which may be helpful information to some.
Although I have now fixed the image loading by switching provider, the supplied router does have its downsides. With the old Sky router, WiFi range was never an issue. The new LinkSys router that Gigaclear have supplied is a newer design (WiFi 6), using mesh networking. Not having used this before, I wrongly assumed that as I only had the one router, with no repeaters before, the same should be at least true with mesh network nodes. However, it appears that in order to provide more seamless handovers between mesh nodes, the individual nodes are not as powerful as the older style routers. With the one node, we struggle with WiFi reception to the point that most of us run out of mobile data each month now, as we can't reach the WiFi in much of the house! The solution - you add more mesh nodes throughout the house, which is supposed to be very straightforward. The catch is, my new provider (Gigaclear) charge an extra £6 per month per mesh node, and they suggest I need 2-3 more to cover the house, which will double the monthly cost. So I looked to buy new or used compatible LinkSys mesh routers - much more affordable it would seem. But another catch is that Gigaclear have custom firmware for their badged LinkSys routers, and they won't guarantee compatibility if I add retail/factory LinkSys mesh nodes. There does not appear to be a way to flash the retail nodes with the Gigaclear firmware.

It's a minefield. I'm reasonably tech savy so I hate it when something that you'd assume was simple catches me out. Sky is now fine for me in small cottage with thick stone walls. I think there was a setting deep in my IOS that I changed after finding something on the Apple forums.

I am having this exact issus, asking if you ever was able to resolve this?
I'm currently 6 months in and finally moved into the property 2 months ago. Since then I habe set up all of our electrical devices either though wifi or wired connection. With wired connection it's grest everything works fast and has nothing really I can go on.
But on wifi for me and my partners phone image (media) loading or sending is a right pain, sometimes I can not get photos/videos sent or can't receive photos/videos. I have moved the hub thinking it could be it's placement but nothing has changed. I can be in the same room 1m away and still has this issue.
Getting rather annoyed with this now and so is my partner and we also will be looking for a new provider who would be able to fix this or not have this issue at all.
What I can add is our speed is consistent witch is great. Only if you are using wired connection.

As mentioned earlier, resolution for me was to change ISP. Now using Gigaclear and problem gone.

On iPhone if I go into the sky WiFi settings and untick the private WiFi ip address and the limit ip tracking it seems to download quicker, so may be to do with privacy rather ? Just saying..
