On a number of channels are TV pixelates. It jumps and we cannot always watch on Programmes added to our list.
we have Netflix on the account but cannot connect it.
downloading is slow
we should not need an extender - we were sold that it would work all over the house

Nope: the terms of the WiFi Guarantee make it clear that boosters may well be required. WiFi can only function according to fundamental laws of physics, which includes the attenuation of wireless signal through building fabric: you really wouldn't want to share a room with a router that can blast microwave energy through anything.
