Slow download speed on broadband
I have seen plenty of the discussions on here and seen that I'm not the only one have really slow broadband speed at the moment with sky. The fact that the app is saying I am having 34mb/s download speed when in truth it's more like 10mb/s if I'm lucky, is just not acceptable. Why must they lie about their download speed, which I have told them off for in the past when this has happened (when you csn actually get through to an actual person) and it's just not on for me or any of Sky's customers. This needs to be rectified quickly before there is a mass workout of Sky, going to their competitors for faster and reported better broadband services.

Re: Slow download speed on broadband
@BenEminson how are you measuring the download speed? If it is on a device connected by WiFi it is probable you are just measuring the spedd of the WiFi in your home not the speed of your broadbsnd connection to your Sky hub. To getva reliable test use a device connected by Ethernet cable when nothing else using the connection.
WiFi speeds are outside. Sky's control as they depend on tge layout and type of construction of your home.
