Hi
My Sky broadband hub is running to slow because when I am online, and trying to shop or Post a message it's taking to long to load a website, also when I press a key the website doesn't work fast enough I am constantly stopping it from loading because, it's taking longer than about four minutes to load

Find out more@Abstractions delays such as those you are experiencing can be caused by a sluggish response from Sky's DNS system which turns web addresses into IP addresses. There is a relatively simple work round on an iPad which is to go into the Settings and then Wifi, click on the Sky connection scroll down to the DNS setting and open that change the setting from automatic to manual and add a server at 8.8.8.8 and exit. This means the iPad will query both Sky's DNS and one of Google's public DNS servers which are very reliable.
If thst works it is worth powering down your Sky hub for an hour as thst will probably getvyou onto a different connection with Sky hopefully thst is working properly.

I've been having the same problem as you. I have just upgraded to Ultrafast but it hasn't made any difference, loading pages taking 20 seconds to load and many times it just times out. And just like you I posted on here hoping for some help. Got asked to post hub statistics as you have, but then nobody answers, it's so frustrating.
All I seem to do is wait for pages to load even though it says I have great speeds. All I get from Sky is, 'Unplug your router, leave it for 10 minutes, then plug it back in'. Done that several times with no change!
Regreting dumping Virgin, at least their broadband was good!!

I do see you are exclusively using WiFi, are you able to try an ethernet connected device & see if you still have the same slow loading issues?

Hi
I am going to try a, Ethernet cable to see if it gets my tv to load things up faster, the other device's I have are iPads so I can't, use them on that.

Hi
I bought an Ethernet cable i thought there was only, a green light flashing on the back of my router and the tv guide hadn't loaded any faster, but the apps were loading faster and when, I went back to the tv guide I noticed that there's a green light flashing.

Hi
I tried to do this with the, iPad I turned the router off at the plug afterwards for an hour but I don't think it's made, any difference I had to reconnect, something for the tv afterwards I, changed everything in the settings but I don't think it's helped speed the internet up.

Hi
I think the Ethernet is working abit on the tv though, do the states, tell me anything's more about the speed and is there anything I can change on the states to improve the speed of the tv
