Slow WiFi, unless directly next to hub
I've recently moved to Sky, and have the 900Mb package. The router is unfortunately located under the stairs where the fiber comes into the house which doesn't help. The main issue is that unless you're right next to the hub you lose almost half the speed. Upstairs is even worse where I can only get around 300Mb/s. I have tried a third party WiFi extender which worked perfectly in my previous house but only gets about 100Mb/s in the new one. Other than running a longer ethernet cable to move the hub to another location is there any other options I can try?

@MarkG Longer Ethernet is your option to get it out off the cupboard!
