Slow Speed, conflicting speed tests 504v83 mb
Broadband speed has been noticeably slower than expected, from the start. I Did a speed test on the Sky App (504mbps) and Fast.com (83mbps), widly different results...
All we are doing is (trying to) watch netflix on the TV and two ppl scrolling a bit.

@Sethao Can see just looking at your mobile that you have not connected to the sky Hub in the wireless correctly, so going to say you are on the 2.4Ghz band and that speed is good!

The Sky app reports broadband speed arriving at the Hub over optical fibre and ethernet cable. Your fast.com result is 'testing' the local WiFi, not the broadband itself.

Re: Slow Speed, conflicting speed tests 504v83 mb
@Sethao streaming Netflix in UHD uses less than 25Mb/s so you have ample speed for what you want to do but 83Mb/s ishardly spectacular WiFi performance. Any Sky hub will output over 500Mb/s over WiFi but signals lose strength when passing through solid objects the denser the object the more power lost and any metal blocks it completly. Therefore wifi speeds depend on the layiut of your home and what it is built of. Check your hub is in the best possible position which is on a surface out in the open beyond thst consider getting a booster/extender.
