Hi, I had my broadband activated yesterday. I know that it takes 10-14 days for the Sky to adjust the speed but it's weird that I've never exceeded 2mbs since the activation. This is my first time being with Sky and never had such an issue with other broadbands (2mbs max). It's almost useless having it, can't even load a page properly.
Is it normal for the internet to be slow this constantly?

Your line is a adsl copper to the exchange with room for a small improvement but nothing spectacular
Could you enter your full postal address below and post the table after removing your address from the image

Hi, can't upload the result as I'm stuck on the address page. Even when I enter my address won't proceed to the next page.

At apparently 2.7km from the exchange the maximum speed would be 7-10Mbps.
The wholesale checker would tell us if superfast fttc is in your area and its availability

I believe only ADSL is available for my area. I live in a block of flat which only offers sky essential plus which has internet speed ranging from 11-17mbs. I've already searched on Openreach and fibre optics is unavailable for my area.
I just wanted to know if ADSL is supposed to be this slow.

After 10-14 days of dlm you would get possibly 10+ Mbps. So don't be tempted to reboot the hub during that initial training period

Thanks, I'll probably cancel sub if it doesn't exceed 2mbs even after 14days
