Slow Broadband Speed 500 Mbps Fibre

Hi i had UltraFast 500 Mbps installed on Friday. After doing a Speedtest its 160.5 download and 66.03 upload. Does it take time to settle? What sort of speeds do you get?  Thanks

Those would be entirely plausible speeds over WiFi.  How are you carrying out the testing?

Full-fibre doesn't require any settle-in period, so getting those speeds mentioned over a wired ethernet connection is either contention or a fault.

Samsung S24, Sky Q, occasionally Xbox Series S

The Samsung S24 is compatible with the WiFi 7 standard and Sky Max is only compatible with WiFi 6 and only the 5Ghz band but I'd expect the speed to be much higher than you are measuring on the devices concerned especially if the Xbox Series S is wired.

My own Xbox Series X which basically has the same ethernet port 1Gbps gets a throughput of about 850Mbps on a 900Mbps connection, so something is wrong somewhere. Over wireless I'd expect an issue with it being only WiFi 5 802.11ac on Xbox Series S.

I'd recommend you look at wiring the Xbox Series S for best performance and upgrading the router to WiFI 6E or better that uses the 6Ghz band and 160Mhz width channel which lacks interference from other devices in the airspace because nobody is using it currently for Samsung S24.

Just to give you a comparison on 900/100Mbps connection with Zen on an Xbox Series X mine reports as follows in the network testing in on settings in Xbox on wired connection:-
