Hi, Just wondered if this is quite common...put postcode and phone number on the website, said I could get superfast35. Signed up for broadband (and TV package), only to receive email next day saying broadband cancelled. Several calls and days later Sky tell me that I actually can't get broadband where we live, yet website said I could??

Shouldn'nt be an issue. Showing 61-63 Mbps and available slots in the cabinet. Also the fact that you already have bt fibre should mean a straight forward line transfer and remote activation.
Suggest you call sky again for clarification

Cheers, thanks very much. I've nearly lost the plot where I've spent so long on the phone, pretty sure they were saying that Openreach were the ones saying not poss.
Again, thanks a lot for your help!

Many thanks! Rung Sky, I can now apparently get broadband superfast,so signed up, cheers again.
Can i ask something else (apologies for the ignorance)
1) If I get an extended length ethernet cable to connect sky Q box to sky router, are they pretty much the same, or certain makes to go for?
2) Some time ago sky engineer put a broadband booster in (close to my old BT router and not far from tv), do I still need that if I connect new sky router to Q box via ethernet cable?
Many thanks

Category 5e gigabit ethernet cable should be good for 100 metres

Not unless you want to cover more of the property than the sky q box. Not sure if you need to resubscibe to broadband boost and the booster may need changed unless it is a white version of the sky router.
ie horizontal sky q booster for er115 sky q router and vertical sky broadband booster for the sky broadband hub sr203
