what is the sky username and password I use for when I set up a third party router?

 

I am on FTTC.

Are you in ireland or the uk?

Have you got a 3rd modem or just a router ?

What 3rd party equipment are you using

abcdefgh@skydsl as username and abcdefgh as password should work, or anything in that format.

 

However the router has to support MER (DHCP Option 61) rather than the more common PPPoE: many mainstream models are not compatible with Sky FTTC.

I am using tp link ac2100.

Is that a modem as well?

If so then is should work

 

Under ppp/atm

 

Select sky mer vdsl for isp

 

Username anything@skydsl

Password   anything

Set vlan id to 101

Set MTU to 1500 or accept default 1492 if you cant change it

For ipv6, on the LAN settings page,  should I enable radvd, or DHCP v6?

Also what about ULA prefix?

 

I am trying to get a score near to 20/20 on ipv6 test.
