I've been having the same issue. Around 11.30pm last night 09/10/2024 internet dropped out. (Bear in mind we're not new customers, we've had no dropouts for over a year. We don't touch the router or cables etc it's left to its own devices). Looked at the router and the Internet light was going through the following cycle... off, then flashing amber, then solid amber, then off again. Occasionally, it will go green and we shout hallelujah! Only for it to last 1 minute before going off and repeating the cycle again. It's so frustrating. It's literally started out of nowhere. This continued up to midday this afternoon before finally connecting and staying on. That was until around 7.15pm tonight (10/10/2024) the internet dropped and the cycle has started again. I'm in Shropshire, WV15 area. Rang Sky and they were no help, basically we were told there are no issues and its technology deal with it! An engineer coming out in 2 weeks! Can't deal with this for 2 weeks. Any ideas?

Re: Sky router dropping in and out flashing orange lights
Mines doing the same when I switched over from broadband to fibre yesterday, kept droping out from day 1, then reset the router and back on again for 1-2 hours before dropping out again. then repat the proccess to get it back up and running. Getting the new Sky Max router delivered tomorrow. Im hoping that sorts it out.

Re: Sky router dropping in and out flashing orange lights
@Skrikka mine did that all weekend dropping out and the cause was due to a faulty test socket which the sky broadband engineer fixed and reduced the broadband speed download speed up to 31 down to 40 mbps and said you have to wait till 10 days before it settles down and gets a good speed that's why the router was constantly dropping out at times due to a faulty test socket they know what there talking about and can sort it
