Sky router dc input 4.8/1.7 vs 5.5/2.1

My router has the older 4.8/1.7 dc input router. How do I get a new 5.5/2.1 dc input version.

I have a sr203 hub with the older 4.8/1.7 dc input. I am looking to upgrade the dc power supply & the connectors are 5.5/2.1. I understand that newer hubs have the 5.5/2.1 input. So I am trying to get a newer one.

@Kmslee Where are you getting the information from? Barrel size on mine is still the 4.8/1.7mm for the SR203, no idea off the age though was one off those refurb units that they give to new customers!

@Kmslee  Sky won't replace a power supply, there is no mechanism for this, the hub would only be replaced if  it's faulty or you upgrade your broadband service.

Thank you, i will have to look for an upgrade. This has happened as I now have full fibre & can hard wire the router

@Kmslee Not with you at all, the new ONT has a larger barrel connector at the 5.5/2.1mm size way lower current though as power is not that large for it!

The SR203 has been around since 2019 and dont ever remember a change of power connection size for it, but you just never know!

Thank you. The ont input is 5.5/2.1 & the new power supply fits fine. I cannot get the 5.5/2.1 dc cable on the new power supply ro fit into the sky router. The 5.5/2.1 is too big & on line the connector input us sized 4.8/1.7

@Kmslee There is a PSU in the sky Box to fit the sky Hub, did you not get one with the Hub, is that what the problem is!
