Sky reschedule my engineer visit without asking me
I have scheduled to have an engineer visit on 29 Jan 2026 to upgrade my broadband to fibre, then out of nowhere, I received an email from SKy that there will be an engineer visit on 2 Jan 2026 , which is the time when i was overseas. I then told Sky i won't be at home on 2 jan 2026 as I will be overseas. Sky then cancel my 29 Jan 2026 appointment said I requested it. How ridiculous this is?

Re: Sky reschedule my engineer visit without asking me
@Handyman It happens when an available slot can be advanced, but the obvious is can the customer accommodate that request, when not and stated sorry not suitable for whatever reason you would think sky would just not do anything but make sure the original was untouched, wonder if it may have to do with any compensation etc, sky then have no hesitation cancel the order and mark it up customer refused possibly which is way wrong, now you have to hound them for another date!
Did happen to me, OR accelerated the install from order to done 5 day's later, sky did call and say can you do, i said yes go for it, bit off a rush getting everything out the door sky's end but it all came together fairly well!
